Poser is like Lazarus, being resurrected from the dead like 12 years too late.Īnd the included figures and “stuff” is from as far back as PoserPros, RuntimeDNA, and Content Paradise, sites that are all gone now. Pirates out there are more interested in what is Currently hot and useable – and technically savvy. I personally think no one is interested in a program with an interface from 1989, and where most Daz Figures or Content will no longer support Poser any longer. That being said, I am sure a bunch of die-hard Poser Users won’t like what I have to say here: As Rendo has a huge amount of ancient products for V4 and M4 which are no longer of interest to Daz Studio users. Essentially if Bondware/Renderosity didn’t buy it up, they’d have no platform to sell their products for. I know there are people here who would tear me apart for saying this, but I started with Poser when I was 16, and then moved to Daz Studio and when Smith Micro let Poser stagnate and dumped all its loyal followers, including me and my friends, we never forgave them.
